Dress to the Maxi

It seems that Summer is officially Maxi season. I'm actually not a big fan of Maxi dresses. Sure, they're flowy and loose, which is great for hat weather, but they're also puffy towards the waist, which I find usually makes women look pregnant. Of course, if you are pregnant, then it's ok to look pregnant, but if you aren't, (and have absolutely no intentions of ever getting pregnant), then it's not so great. Also, most of the maxi dresses I've seen have been super colorful, and featuring tons of patterns, the two things that I dislike the most in clothing. However, I happen to get an email one day from Milanoo showing some of their maxi dresses, and I completely fell in love! I actually really, really like these dress, and could totally see myself buying and wearing, but unfortunately I've just put myself on a spending freeze, so this will have to wait for later.

I absolutely love these bohemian style Maxis! They would go great with a under bust corset, or waist cincher, for a romantic peasant girl, or princess look!
